Cerreto Guidi
The town of Cerreto Guidi is lined by hills and takes its name from Guidi, who had built a castle close to the Via Francigena. During the sixteenth Cosimo I de 'Medici built the Villa Medici, now converted into a National Museum, which features all the old town. In this area are produced screws type DOC and the council is part of the association "City of wine." The hills covered with vineyards are accompanied by their farms and houses in the area.
